		<description>I don&#039;t know about the speeds, but my personal observation over lots of years of doing all three is that 1 unit swimming = 4 units running = 10 units cycling.   You can make the units yards, kilometers, miles, whatever.   
This is somewhat verified if you look at the race times of competitive athletes in all three.</description>

		<description>Depends how fast you ride the bike....gears etc, road bike vs mtn bike.  personally I reall dont care for swimming for pretty much the same reason   tooo boring.  But its my understanding that it is actually even better for CV fitness than running is.</description>
